Our Bosco Tourism Business of the Year Award!

We are thrilled to have been named the 2013 Bosco Tourism Business of the Year here in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. We know it wouldn’t be possible without the consistent, day-in-day-out attention to detail that every single one of our staff carries out! Winning an award of this stature does not come about without a total group effort. We couldn’t be more proud of everyone who works at The Hotel Maxwell Anderson!

The Bosco Tourism Business of the Year Award was established in 2007 to recognize a business which has carried on the Bosco Family’s legacy by significantly contributing to the main economic drivers in our community: tourism and the hospitality industry.

Lisa, from the Glenwood Springs Chamber of Commerce said, “This award fittingly goes to the Hotel Maxwell Anderson for being a symbol of Glenwood Springs’ hospitality for nearly a century. Next year is their 100th anniversary. Consistently rated as one of the top hotels in Glenwood Springs, the Hotel Maxwell Anderson’s owners, Steve and April Carver have championed their industry by serving on the Downtown Development Authority and Tourism Boards. The chamber is proud to partner with the Hotel in hosting meetings, workshops and seminars. The chamber recognizes that many of the recent improvements to downtown are because of the Carvers’ direct efforts: new outdoor dining, sidewalk and alley improvements, and the new parking garage.”

2014 is a year of much anticipation for us as we operate in our 99th year. In 2015 we will celebrate 100 years of providing hospitality and accommodations to travelers out enjoying the Western Slope of Colorado. Whether visitors arrive by Amtrak train (our hotel is mere steps from the station) or by car, we look forward to welcoming you to experience Fun Town USA!
